It provides links to e-safety materials, latest national education content as well as some older but well used resources produced in the West Midlands. We are part of the National Education Network.

The WMnet Region

WMnet is the West Midlands Regional Broadband Consortium (RBC). It consists of local authorities and their representatives across the West Midlands, with representation from Birmingham, Coventry,Dudley,Herefordshire, Sandwell, Shropshire, Solihull, Staffordshire, Stoke, Telford and Wrekin, Walsall, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton ;and Worcestershire.One of England's nine Regional Broadband Consortia, it was established under the ;National Grid for Learning ;programme to enhance the quality of learning ;through the development of a distributed, regional learning network backbone giving all 2,500 schools in the region affordable and reliable broadband connectivity.

WMnet is also pleased to have a strategic partnership with E2BN, our counterpart in the East of England.
