notes on the official “Background to Stern Review” and links The “official” background details the terms of reference and the call for evidence and focuses almost exclusively on economic aspects. There are links to many responses as well as to other presentations by Stern in the wider context of the Review from Energy in China to Road Transport. In addition to this it is worth noting that Stern was able to commission specific research to support his work and the link (right) provides a useful listing of these. More importantly the table shows which pieces of commissioned research fed into which chapters. For those following choosing particular chapters for detailed reading, this is therefore a particularly useful aid to study with details which include quantitative data used by Stern and some science, and geography as well as economics |
